Our Valkyrie cream contains the full range of natural cannabinoids. Through a gentle process of CO2 extraction, the precious cannabinoids and terpenes of the hemp plant (cannabis sativa) are kept intact, thus obtaining a full spectrum of natural cannabinoids. Certified hemp plants are grown organically and therefore GMO-free, which means they are free of chemical fertilisers and growth hormones.
In addition, the cream is gluten-free and contains no artificial preservatives or colourants. Valkyrie-CBD cream is a vegan product, i.e. it does not contain any animal products.
Ursolic acid is found in rosemary, lavender, oregano, thyme, peppermint and is contained in the wax coating of cranberries, elderberries and apples. This complex derived from fatty acids is an effective emulsifier that connects the phases of fat and water. It also has antibacterial properties. With this combination of effects, ursolic acid can either cleanse the pores of excess sebum or purify them of bacteria.
Myricetin belongs to the flavonoid class and is a polyphenol that is also found in tea, dark berries and red wine. It is being explored for its antiviral and neuroprotective effects and has anti-inflammatory effects by blocking the release of cellular inflammatory mediators. Above all, this can have a positive effect on the production of sebum in acne. Like most polyphenols, it is an effective antioxidant and protects the skin from free radicals. Myricetin effectively counteracts skin damage, skin ageing and wrinkles.
Tetrahydrodiferulomethane / tetrahydro curcumin is a product of the active ingredient of curcumin from the homonymous root of turmeric. It acts as an anti-inflammatory antioxidant and helps to lighten the pigmented areas of the skin and age spots. This effect can also have a positive effect on scars and stretch marks.
Panthenol is also known as dexpanthenol or provitamin B5. It is an important component of coenzyme A and therefore plays a central role in the metabolism and regeneration of skin cells. Panthenol is used to treat wounds and relieve itching, has anti-inflammatory properties and helps the skin retain moisture.
Liposomes are small bubbles that have a structure identical to that of the cell membrane. They contain the active ingredients of Eir. Thus, they facilitate the release of the active ingredients through the skin into the cell and allow the optimal supply of both water and fat components. The combination of these two components forms the skin’s protective film (= hydrolipidic film). In this way, liposomes provide rich and optimal protection without leaving the skin greasy.
